A Fun & Educational Farm Day for Homeschool Families
Homeschool field trips at Sunset Valley Farms are a special opportunity to enjoy the farm in a fun, educational setting alongside other homeschool families. It’s the perfect mix of hands-on learning, outdoor exploration, and memory-making!
What to Expect
Your group will enjoy a full farm experience that blends education with fun, including:
– Educational talk about pumpkins, corn, and how crops grow
– Scenic wagon (grain train) ride through the farm
– Guided tour with stops at the barn, corn maze, animals, and sunflower patch
– Visit to the pumpkin patch (pumpkins available for purchase)
– Playground time and access to smaller mazes
Special Homeschool Day
We proudly offer a dedicated Homeschool Day each fall—perfect for connecting with other homeschool families!
– Held annually on the last Wednesday in September
– Designed specifically for homeschool students and groups
Important Information for Homeschool Groups
To help ensure a smooth experience for everyone:
- Groups must arrive on time and depart at the designated time (8:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.)
- The farm is shared unless exclusive use is arranged in advance
- All activities run on a schedule, including the wagon ride
Exclusive Farm Option:
If you are interested in reserving the farm for your group only, this must be booked in advance for September dates. Exclusive use is not available in October.
Wagon Ride Note:
The grain train ride is scheduled. If your group misses it, there will not be another opportunity to ride.
Pricing
- $11 per student: Preschool through 1st grade
- $13 per student: 2nd grade through high school
- $15 per parent
- Teachers & bus drivers: FREE
Food & Concessions
Our concession stand will be open with a limited menu. If your group does not plan to utilize the concession stand, please let us know when booking so we can schedule our team accordingly.
