School Field Trips
A Fun & Educational Farm Experience for Your Students
Field trips at Sunset Valley Farms are a fun and memorable experience for students of all ages! Our hands-on, outdoor learning environment gives students the opportunity to explore agriculture, learn where their food comes from, and enjoy a day on the farm.
What to Expect
Your students will enjoy a well-rounded farm experience that blends education with fun, including:
– Educational talk about pumpkins, corn, and how crops grow
– Scenic wagon ride through the farm
– Guided tour with stops at the barn, corn maze, animals, and sunflower patch
– Visit to the pumpkin patch (pumpkins available for purchase)
– Playground time and access to smaller mazes
Important Information for School Groups
To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all groups, please note:
- The farm is shared during scheduled field trip days and cannot be reserved for exclusive use
- All groups are expected to arrive on time and depart at the designated time (8:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.)
- Groups will follow a structured schedule to ensure everyone participates in all activities
Exclusive Farm Option:
Schools interested in reserving the farm for exclusive use must book in advance for September dates only. Exclusive use is not available in October.
Pricing
- $11 per student: Preschool through 1st grade
- $13 per student: 2nd grade through 8th grade
- $15 per parent & sibling
- Teachers & bus drivers: FREE
Arrival & Check-In Details
- Please arrive on time
- Students should exit buses and line up by the market
- Teachers will check in and pay inside the market
- Parents should not wait at the gate for buses (Parents must enter, pay admission, and go directly to their group’s designated area)
These procedures help ensure field trips start on time and students don’t miss any part of the experience.

Our concession stand will be open during field trip days with a limited menu available for purchase.
